That instinct is why Smartfluence exists. We spent years running influencer campaigns ourselves, watching the market develop, documenting what breaks, and building the tools we needed to survive. When we looked at where influencer marketing was heading, we saw a clear pattern: agencies are the lever. Brands come and go. Agencies compound. The infrastructure to make agencies excellent? That's what endures.

So we built it.

L'histoire

In 2012, Leo Thevenet started Le Cafe Du Geek at 16. What began as a tech blog grew into a media brand covering major international tech events across three continents.

By 2020, Geek Media was founded. The team was running multi-country influencer campaigns for brands across Europe and Asia: coordinating creators, negotiating rates, managing logistics, and reporting results. Every campaign surfaced the same problems: fragmented data, inconsistent pricing, no reliable way to predict outcomes.

Between 2020 and 2023, the systems we needed didn't exist. So we built them. Not as a product, but as operational infrastructure. Internal tools to source influencers faster, price campaigns accurately, and report outcomes in a format clients could actually use.

In 2023, those internal tools became the first version of Smartfluence, and what we now call Mirae, our AI campaign agent. It was rough, built for us, and it worked. By 2024, it was a full platform, and we realized the agencies we were talking to had the exact same problems we'd solved for ourselves.

In March 2026, Smartfluence opened to agencies. Not as a startup with a pitch deck and a landing page. As a platform built by people who ran the campaigns, survived the problems, and built the tools that actually work.
